Avon Old Farms

Avon, Connecticut | High School, 9-12, PG, All-boys | Founded in 1927

Description

Avon Old Farms School is an expert in educating boys. They understand how boys learn and have designed the academic, athletic, artistic, and residential programs to bring out the best in students. While the academic programs will challenge the most talented students, it is the work outside the classroom that makes Avon different. With the Intersession program, courses are team taught by faculty outside of traditional curriculum. Examples of the two-week intersession courses include: America's "War on Terror" 2001-2017, Beekeeping 101, Business of Sports, CAD Engineering, Songwriting, and Genomics. Located 2 hours from Boston and New York City, you are not far from two rich historical cities.
