Bridgton Academy

North Bridgton, Maine | High School, 12, PG, All-boys | Founded in 1808

Description

Bridgton Academy is a postgraduate boarding school for young men ages 18 - 19 years old. Located in North Bridgton, Maine, students get the opportunity to live the college lifestyle before they go off to college.

Bridgton focuses on preparing students for college. One way they succeed at this is by offering a College Articulation Program (CAP). Bridgton partners with Plymouth State University and Saint Joseph's College of Maine to offer students 14 college level classes. This program gives students a head start when they get to college.

Outside of the classroom, Bridgton students are welcome to partake in school-sponsored Weekend Programming where students can see movies, take a trip to the outlet malls, go hiking, fishing, bowling, or to a local baseball game. Bridgton's Shawnee Peak Ski Program is a partnership where students are able to ski at any time of the season for free, with rental gear included.
