The Colorado Rocky Mountain School (CRMS) experience is designed to address a transformative time in a young adult’s life to stay connected and be seen and heard. CRMS’s campus is an expansive 300-plus acre of land, boasting beautiful views. Academics at Colorado Rocky Mountain School isn’t an isolated endeavor confined to a classroom. While being prepared for college, students follow an integrated liberal arts curriculum that ranges from the flanks of nearby Mount Sopris to the deserts of the southwest. Students are additionally supported through weekly small-group meetings with an advisor, access to a dedicated learning specialist and a college and career counselor, and a peer tutoring program. The outdoor program is an integral part of the CRMS experience, which includes sports, service crews, and outdoor trips with an emphasis on character development. There are three outdoor trips in the wilderness, nearby mountains, deserts, and rivers. CRMS is located a half hour from cultural epicenter of Aspen which boasts some of the most beautiful wilderness in the country.
