Foxcroft Academy

Dover Foxcroft, Maine | High School, 9-12, PG, Co-ed | Founded in 1823

Description

Founded in 1823, Foxcroft Academy is a small town school with a global environment. FA is an I.B., co-ed, grades 9-12 school. At Foxcroft Academy, students get the opportunity to create an individualized curriculum focusing on STEM or the Arts or the Humanities, and as an Apple Distinguished School, technology is everything! Partner schools in Europe and China allow our students the chance to study abroad. Foxcroft is located in a small, safe community with a homey, welcoming feel. Students enjoy spending their free time in the coffee shops, theaters, restaurants, and walking the beautiful trails and tree-lined streets. We provide trips to Bangor (a 40 minute drive, where Bangor International Airport is located), Portland (a 2 hour drive), Boston (a 3.5 hour drive or 4 hour bus ride) and New York.
