High Mowing School is an accredited Waldorf co-educational high school serving day and boarding students in Wilton, New Hampshire. The campus is surrounded by beautiful woods and fields that change with the seasons. High Mowing utilizes block classes for nearly two hours a day to study a specific subject for three to four weeks at a time. Academics of every block are supplemented and contextualized with art and creative expression. Track classes are held every day such as math, English, art classes, and languages in order to build a foundation of skills. Specialized programs such as the Land-based program offers an in-depth experience of ecology, botany, geography, philosophy, and social responsibility as well as wilderness and craft techniques for students to learn from. As students progress in their education, so do their options for personalized interest curriculum. Outside of the classroom, students spend time with their peers playing pool in their dorm, playing instruments, and hanging out.
