John Bapst School is a boarding and day school located in Bangor, ME. Ranked the #1 school in Northern New England by The Washington Post in 2012, 2014, and 2016-2018. Every John Bapst student receives a strong foundation in STEM subjects, and can pursue math and science beyond coursework. Students can compete in math, robotics, and cyber-security teams. Seniors can extend learning beyond classroom work in four areas: Fine Arts, Global Studies, Humanities, and STEM, working with a mentor to design and complete an independent project that they present in a public forum.
