Salisbury School

Salisbury, Connecticut | Grades 9-12 & PG, All-Boys | Founded in 1901

Description

Salisbury is a dynamic, modern boarding school for boys in the Northwest Corner of Connecticut. We take pride in the history that makes us so unique, and celebrate it with a number of traditions that have been passed down over the years. We are a school that values loyalty and honor. We are a small school that strives to develop your mind, body and spirit. Finally, we are a school founded in the tradition of the Episcopal Church and seek to instill in you a moral compass that will guide you during your college years and in the world thereafter. You will be challenged each day by your teachers, your coaches and your advisor. You won't get lost or fall through the cracks at Salisbury. We view ourselves as a community of learners who care for and support each other in all endeavors. As a graduate, you will look back on your experience at Salisbury as much more than just an important chapter of your education or a stepping stone to the college of your choice. You'll realize that you have been and continue to be part of a family that will always be a cherished piece of your life.

We know that you are more likely to learn, tackle challenges, and stay engaged in a setting where you feel known, seen, and valued as an individual. Our teachers are experts at teaching boys because they build authentic relationships with you. They share their passion and excitement for their teaching topics with you, and create classroom experiences that also speak to your passions and interests. Educational experts understand that there is no better way for you to master a skill than to work in a hands-on environment and produce actual results. At Salisbury, we know you need opportunities to learn actively, to be engaged and to be challenged. From Entrepreneurial Studies to Boat Building, you'll find a number of unique opportunities to dive in and make your learning visible.
