Wayland Academy

Beaver Dam, Wisconsin | High School, 9-12, Co-ed | Founded in 1855

Description

Wayland Academy is an independent, coed college preparatory school for boarding and day students, founded in 1855. The school’s rich, rigorous academic program features exceptionally small classes, capstone projects at every grade, an active STEAM program, and an array of AP offerings. Wayland’s historic campus is located in the town of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, 40 miles from Madison and 60 miles from Milwaukee. We are located in a small, safe city of 16,000--with a walkable downtown. Students enjoy going to the movies, going out for sushi, and going to McDonald's--and then head to Madison, Milwaukee, and Chicago each weekend. The Academy offers courses on three levels of instruction: Advanced Placement (AP), Honors (H), and College Preparatory (CP).
