The Winchendon School has been a better way to do high school since 1926. We put an emphasis on community. Students learn better when they connect with the people around them. At The Winchendon School, students discover themselves while building life-long connections. Here, we are guided by real-world learning. We don’t give the answer; rather, we guide you to find it on your own. ColLABs bring learning outside of the classroom and allow students to participate in business internships, explore ideas and subjects that might not get to in a traditional classroom setting. Students can study street art in New York City or the American Revolution in the heart of Massachusetts. At The Winchendon School, students can study what makes them curious. Our two locations give students the best of both boarding and day schools. Our boarding and day campus is located in the heart of New England in Massachusetts nestled near Mount Monadnock in New Hampshire. Sixty-five miles from Boston, our Winchendon Massachusetts campus is surrounded by pristine lakes and mountains. Boston is easily accessible by the commuter rail train. In New York City, our Clinton Hill address in Brooklyn is convenient to everything the City offers.
